2023 Group Training Awards finalists
HVTC has secured six finalists in the 2023 Apprentice Employment Network (AEN) NSW & ACT Group Training Awards:
Apprentice of the Year
• Justin Curley, Electrical Apprentice hosted to Origin Energy
• Matthew Nott, Electrical Apprentice hosted to Whitehaven Coal
Trainee of the Year
• Jacob Anderson, Water Operations Trainee hosted to Origin Energy
• Joel Hartley, Marketing Trainee hosted to HVTC
First Nations Trainee/Apprentice of the Year
• Jayden Simms, Waste Operations Trainee hosted by Shoalhaven City Council
Women in Trades Trainee/Apprentice of the Year
• Rachael Pearson, Engineering Mechanical Apprentice hosted to South32
The Group Training Awards recognise outstanding achievements in the vocational education and training sector and honour the achievements of apprentices, trainees, host employers and group training organisations.
Winners will be announced at the Awards gala on Friday 13th October at Dockside Darling Harbour.
