Local Government Council Partnerships
HVTC is a proud supporter of local training and employment. Through our group training organisation (GTO) division, we partner with local Government Councils across NSW to provide job seekers and school leavers in their communities with the opportunity to complete both studies and paid employment through an apprenticeship or traineeship. In doing so, we are helping these communities to train and retain skilled workers for the future.
Over the last 10 years HVTC has employed over 900 placements within local Government Councils across NSW, including 100 current apprentices and trainees from varying diversity target areas. Some of the Local Government Councils we already work with include Shoalhaven City Council, Sutherland Shire Council, Northern Beaches Council and Singleton Council.
HVTC is also a Local Government Procurement ApprovedContractor, which means Local Government Councils can utilise our GTO services without having to go to tender. The benefits of using HVTC's apprenticeship and traineeship services include:
- Expertise of an organisation with more than 41 years of experience in the recruitment, employment and management of apprentices and trainees.
- HVTC is already vetted by LGP. They've done the tender process so you don't have to. Simply request a proposal or quote through LGP rather than going through the lengthy tender process.
- HVTC already partners with more than 11 Local Councils across NSW, including Shoalhaven City Council - a Host Employer of more than 24 years!
