Fantastic traineeship opportunity for Sydney school leavers

Group Training Organisation HVTC has been awarded the contract to recruit and place 56 trainees, across 20 Sydney locations, with Service NSW.

Service Centres include Botany, Hurstville, Rockdale, Miranda, Blacktown, Brookvale, Castlehill, Hornsby, Warriewood, Mt Druitt, Sydney West, Wynyard, Bondi, Haymarket, Ryde, Chatswood, Parramatta, Auburn, Marrickville, and Burwood.

The 12 month traineeships allow participants to earn while they learn and obtain a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Customer Engagement.

Successful candidates will be employed full-time as Digital Service Representatives with Service NSW, commencing in January 2018.

HVTC Operations Manager Libby Ford believes these roles present fantastic opportunities for young jobseekers, recent school leavers who may have decided against enrolling in University, or those taking a gap year in 2018.

“The Certificate III in Customer Engagement is such a versatile qualification that can lead to a diverse range of career choices from Customer Service to Sales and Marketing.

“A traineeship with a well-respected Government organisation like Service NSW also presents participants with quality on the job experience that will set them up for life,” said Mrs Ford.

Across the state, HVTC is recruiting for around 80 Customer Engagement trainees with Service NSW. The positions include many regional locations from Tweed Heads in the north to Albury in the south.

“Regional opportunities like this don’t come along every day in towns like Armidale, Mudgee, Orange and Wagga so we’re strongly encouraging jobseekers in these areas to apply,” Mrs Ford said.
