Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
EAP is an early intervention services aimed at identification and resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect performance. EAP is a free service available to HVTC employees and their immediate family.

A new Commbank/HVTC partnership has been arranged to provide all employees of HVTC with access to a range of employee benefits including discounts in the retail sector in fashion, health, entertainment and travel. This includes but is not limited to, Presto, Lindt Chocolate Café, MagShop, Epson, CruiseGuru.com.au, redballoon, roses only and many more.
Corporate Gym Memberships
All employees are entitled to a discounted gym membership at selected fitness clubs. This scheme is available throughout NSW to provide access to all apprentices and trainees throughout NSW regardless of the host they are placed with.
Health and Wellbeing Newsletter/Initiatives
HVTC designs, develops and distributes monthly Health and Wellbeing Newsletters to every employee via email. The Health and Wellbeing Newsletter is focused on sharing information to promote health and wellbeing, both mentally and physically. Articles feature a range of topics from financial health, exercise, diets, recipes, healthy activities and hobbies, and even information on an smartphone app each month. The in-house produced newsletter is distributed to approximately seven hundred employees and is shared through our Facebook page to encourage a broader message of health and wellbeing.
