Chief Executive Officer
Sharon Smith was appointed as HVTC's new CEO on November 1, 2012. She takes on the role with an outstanding record of achievement over 20 years as a dynamic and influential Senior Executive in the Utilities, Regional Development and private sectors.
This includes Chief Financial Officer and General Manager in various roles leading large operational and shared services teams across Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement and Business Development areas.

Colleen Langdon
Manager, Executive and Administration
Colleen’s role carries responsibility for Executive, Administration and Corporate functions of HVTC. This role encompasses all the Administration requirements for staff associated with Reception, HVTC Intranet, Extranet and aspects of the Website and Social Media.

Janet Lee
Manager Human Resources / Safety Services
Janet’s role is responsible for the development and implementation of HR and Safety systems. These systems support recruitment, talent management and training and ensure the health, safety and welfare of all HVTC employees.

Manager Corporate Affairs / Communications
Melinda’s role is responsible for managing strategic communications to support the promotion, development and growth of HVTC. The portfolio spans corporate marketing and promotions, advertising, managing digital and traditional media, internal/external publications and sponsorships.

Emily Ownly
Manager Quality and Compliance
Emily’s role is responsible for the monitoring of company compliance to GTO, RTO and internal and external quality standards. Part of this includes determining compliance risk and control measures, implementing a Quality Management System underpinned by continuous improvement programs and providing a consultative service to HVTC Management by implementing and/or coordinating projects to improve the quality of company activities.
